Description

The Birmingham Police Department reports that six suspects are in custody in connection with investigations of theft in the tornado affected area of Pratt City.

On April 28, 2011, two suspects were arrested by Birmingham Police Officers for attempting to take property from a vehicle.

Suspects James Jordan, 31, and Antoine Collier, 23, were charged with Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle.

On April 28, 2011, two suspects were arrested by Birmingham Police Officers when officers located them inside a residence attempting to remove property.

Suspects Tabitha Billingsley, 29, and Tiffany Cooper, 28, were charged with Burglary.

On May 2, 2011, a suspect was arrested by Birmingham Police Officers when officers located him inside a residence attempting to remove property.

Suspect Seamonde Etheridge, 48, was charged with Burglary and Receiving Stolen Property.

On May 2, 2011, a concerned citizen notified police that a vehicle involved with looting was attempting to leave the damaged neighborhood. Birmingham Police Officers stopped the vehicle and found that items were inside the vehicle that did not belong to the suspect, Officers also found that the vehicle was stolen.

The identity of the suspect will be released pending completion of warrant procedures.
